'Love Island' Couples Update 2019: Which 'Love Island' Alums Are Still Together?

First debuting in 2015, the British reality show Love Island has proven to be a smash hit after over 3 million people viewed the live finale in August 2018, according to The Sun. The premiere date for the next season of the romance series has not been confirmed; however, has been rumored as June 2019.

Ahead of the summer premiere, find out which Love Island couples have continued to "fancy" each other and which ones have called it quits.

Dani Dyer & Jack Fincham

Arguably one of the cutest couple in Love Island's history, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham won Season 4 of the British reality show and are still together. Getting together at the first coupling ceremony of the season, Dyer and Fincham remained a fan-favorite until the finale, where they won £50,000 ($65,487.00).

The couple did have a brief split in December 2018; however, Dyer confirmed she was back with Finchman in an Instagram post saying: "Arguments are arguments and I love him."

Laura Anderson & Paul Knops

After a messy breakup with Wes Anderson during Season 4, fans were rooting for Scottish flight attendant Laura Anderson to find love on the reality show. There seemed to be a beacon of light when Paul Knops made his debut in the Villa; however, the couple did not last and called it quits later on.

"We weren't compatible for each other. I knew I had to be 100 percent sure about it because you know – the next person you're with could potentially be your wife; you don't want to be unsure about it," Knops revealed to The Sun.

Kaz Crossley & Josh Denzel

Love Island stars Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel met during the reality show's "Casa Amor" segment. Despite being voted the "Hottest Couple" and showing undeniable chemistry, Crossley confirmed the couple's split via Instagram in January.

"Sometimes things don't go the way you planned, but you have to be grateful for the journey," Crossley wrote in an Instagram caption. "Thank you for everything especially showing me how to love myself again."

Megan Barton-Hanson & Wes Nelson

During Season 4, the coupling of Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson was quite a dramatic one. Despite being coupled with Anderson, Barton-Hanson decided to actively pursue Nelson. The 20-year-old then broke things off with Anderson and pursued the Pretty Little Thing ambassador.

It ignited quite a feud in the Villa — like Anderson openly calling Barton-Hanson a "slag" — the couple said that it was worth it; however, it didn't look like the pairing lasted. Following the conclusion of Love Island, the couple called it quits in January; possibly in a result of tensions between Barton-Hanson with Nelson's Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer, according to Radio Times.

Barton-Hanson confirmed the split via Instagram story: "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well under a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate."

Georgia Steel & Sam Bird

Known as the firey "loyal" girl, Georgia Steel suffered quite the heartbreak on Love Island after Denzel decided to leave her for Crossley. Despite the unfortunate end, Steel found love in Villa newcomer Sam Bird.

The duo decided to part ways during the show to avoid being eliminated; however, later on, decided to leave on their own terms, together. Though the couple may have seemed like a great match, it came to a messy end when Bird claimed Steel had cheated on him.

Things got extremely tense during Love Island's "Christmas Reunion" when Bird confronted her on the matter. It was definitely evident that the two broke up on not-so-good terms.

Samira Mighty & Frankie Foster

Since the beginning of Season 4, dancer Samira Mighty wasn't having much luck in the love department. First being matched with Alex George as a platonic couple, no one was really striking Mighty with a true love connection — until Frankie Foster walked in.

The two hit it off and things finally looked to be heading upward with Mighty; however, when Foster was unexpectantly eliminated from the show, Mighty decided to leave with him. Unfortunately, shortly after the show's conclusion, a representative confirmed the couple's split in a statement, published by Cosmopolitan.

"Frankie and Samira have both decided to take a break from their relationship and focus on themselves for now. They have decided to remain civil and have some space apart to decide on what they want to do," the statement read. "Frankie wholeheartedly knows that his actions were not acceptable and has apologized to Samira. At this moment in time having their own space is most important."

Zara McDermott & Adam Collard

Adam Collard first made his Love Island debut as the Villa's playboy it looked like the personal trainer was finally tamed when brunette beauty Zara McDermott walked in. Though Collard was already coupled up with Rosie Williams, it definitely didn't stop him from pursuing McDermott.

Hearts may have been broken for McDermott and Collard to officially couple up, but they quickly turned into a couple that could make it all the way; however, McDermott confirmed their split in earlier this month via Instagram story.

"I am heartbroken to announce that Adam and I have parted ways," McDermott wrote. "I love him very much and will always have a special place in my heart for him and our time spent together. I have tried so hard to be the best person I can possibly be and to make it." work.

Fans were broken up about the split, but more surprisingly, Love Island host Caroline Flack told Cosmopolitan that she "secretly" hopes for the duo to get back together.

"I was surprised about Zara and Adam, I'm secretly hoping they're going to get back together," Flack said at the BRIT Awards.

Ellie Brown & Charlie Brake

Love Island's Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake announced their split in September via Instagram. While Brake left a short and sweet announcement, confirming the split on Instagram, Brown left a more lengthy message for those who "sent lots of love."

"Firstly I want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has sent me lots of love since Tuesday but I beg you to please stop coming to me with articles that claim I brought this on myself," Brown wrote. "I am trying to deal with this as best and as quietly as possible ... By no means am I saying I was the perfect girlfriend but I adored Charlie from the bottom of my heart and he knows that."

Laura Crane & Jack Fowler

While Love Island's Laura Crane and Jack Fowler never made it official after the show's conclusion, the couple issued a statement to Cosmopolitan in September confirming their split.

"Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together," Crane said in a statement. "Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes us."

Fowler added: "We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions.

"We will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does. I wish her all the best. See you soon surfer girl!"
