Lucas Bravo Pranked the Prankster George Clooney in 'Ticket to Paradise'

Lucas Bravo was brave enough to try and prank the notorious prankster George Clooney on the set of Ticket to Paradise.

The pair star alongside Julia Roberts in the upcoming rom-com, due out later in October. Emily in Paris actor Bravo appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday and explained how he tried to get one over on Clooney, though it may have backfired.

Veteran actor Clooney is widely known for his movie set pranks, with the likes of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Sandra Bullock all claiming to be victims of his.

Speaking to Kimmel, Bravo said he was aware of Clooney's reputation.

"The first thing was, if I shoot with George, I need to prank the prankster, and I wanted to be the first one," Bravo said, to which Kimmel commented it sounded like a bad idea.

Bravo went on to explain that Kaitlyn Dever was on the set. She had just worked with Michael Keaton on the limited series Dopesick. As a result, Clooney was apparently asking Dever on set who her favorite Batman was. Keaton played the superhero in two Batman movies while Clooney did in another poorly received one.

"I thought that was brilliant. So at some point I was determined. I thought, 'What if he comes to set one day and instead of his wardrobe he finds a cheap, old school '70s Adam West [Batman] costume instead of his daily costume.'" At this point, Bravo was convinced to change the prank, which accidentally turned it around on him.

"Then the director Ol Parker told me, 'Maybe you should wear the costume while shooting a scene with George.'" At this point (as seen in the video at the top of this page) Kimmel displays a picture taken on set, of Bravo and Clooney. Bravo is wearing the aforementioned Batman costume and Clooney is laughing.

"So this is your prank on George? Because it seems like this might be George's prank on you?" Kimmel asked.

"There was a moment where I was standing behind this door and I was like, 'What am I doing?'" Bravo said while shaking his head.

Bravo is best known for playing Gabriel in the Netflix series Emily in Paris. He's set to star in the upcoming movies Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and Ticket to Paradise.

Ticket to Paradise, starring Clooney, Roberts, Bravo and Dever arrives in movie theaters on Friday October 21, 2022.
