West Ham United is interested in signing Arsenal forward Lucas Pérez, according to reports.
Spanish forward Pérez, 28, moved to Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2016 following a successful two-year spell at Deportivo La Coruna.
But he has failed to pin down a regular starting spot in Arsène Wenger's eleven, starting just two English Premier League games this season.
While the status of Wenger at Arsenal beyond this season remains unclear — the Frenchman has yet to sign a new contract, making transfer negotiations tricky — West Ham under Slaven Bilic is in great need of a goalscorer.
Andy Carroll's injury problems have continued this season, while 2016 summer signing André Ayew has also missed a significant amount of time for treatment.
