Marvel Snap: Win a Location with 1 Card

There are a variety of missions in Marvel Snap, the card battler that everyone's talking about. Many missions can be completed while playing as normal to make progress. One of them includes, "Win a location with only 1 card," which you can claim and finish up for some well-deserved rewards.

However, this can be quite difficult if you aren't prepared with a deck geared toward reaching that goal. In response, numerous players have suggested ways to accomplish this feat. Several have even offered advice to retreat from games while you're meeting this prerequisite, but that means you'll have a loss on your record.

Fear not, as there is a way you can finish the "Win a location with only 1 card" challenge without doing anything untoward or anything that might jeopardize your player status. If you need to get past this challenge, sit back, relax and let us guide you through the process.

Before long, you'll be winning locations with 1 card left and right. And you'll be able to apply this strategy in the future when it might benefit you again. You'll need to do a bit of card collecting, but that's a small price to pay to finish a challenge that might have been giving you problems for some time. Here's how to win that location with a single card.

How to Win a Location with 1 Card in Marvel Snap

If you want to complete this particular mission, don't go for any quick fixes or anything you find on Google or game guides promising the easiest way through. What you're going to want to do is build a deck that you can learn to use properly to mark this mission off your list.

One great deck you can use is Arcturus's One Card Wonder, which has a decklist that looks like this:

  • Nightcrawler
  • Nova
  • Carnage
  • Colossus
  • Forge
  • Deathlok
  • Hulkbuster
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Moon Girl
  • Namor
  • Devil Dinosaur
  • Klaw

This deck is stacked with combinations, like Namor + Hulkbuster and Klaw + Namor, that work together to help you secure the victory you're looking for. Build up this deck and play normally—don't try to cheese the game—and play for at least four turns to see the results.

The idea is not to retreat on purpose, but to see the game through. You don't have to win the game if you capture a location with 1 card. All you need to do is finish out the feat and you'll get credit for doing so.

Marvel Snap is available to play now on iOS, Android and PC.
