This 'Masked Singer' Clue Confirms The Identity of The Rabbit

Last night the Masked Singer revealed a major clue to the identity of the Rabbit. Find out who he is, here.

Last night's episode of the Masked Singer (Episode 7) was another night filled with ridiculous performances and mind-boggling riddles. The evening saw the Alien unmasked as Latoya Jackson, but that wasn't the biggest revelation of the day. Embedded in the silliness of episode 7 lay a significant clue to the identity of the Rabbit, basically confirming his identity. It involves a little hot dog stand in Florida, that happens to serve Italian Ice.

Up to this point, the internet has held onto a handful of favorite guesses for the Rabbit's identity — the most popular being JC Chasez, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey Fatone and AJ Mclean. While we've been leaning toward one performer, there was just enough reasonable doubt to keep us from jumping fully onboard. A key clue provided in an unexpected place, however, left us with no more room for doubt. So here it is.

As with every episode, a video clip was shown before the Rabbit's performance, giving insight for performer's identity. The clues mirrored a lot of what we've heard before from the Rabbit. With references to "pulled strings" and now being the puppetmaster, it seemed to reconfirm the fact that the Rabbit was likely part of a musical group like NSYNC or New Kids on the Block. Towards the end of the clues, the Rabbit let the judges know that he's gotten a fair bit of ink over the years.

"I have 17 tattoos on my body," said the Rabbit.

Well, of course, this is the clue everyone thought would make the Rabbit's identity a sure thing. However, a quick google of male singers with 17 tattoos or the number of tattoos JC from NSYNC has will net you some pretty unsatisfying results. After all, most those 80s and 90s boy band members are all pretty tatted up.

Don't worry though. The tattoo clue really isn't the important one. In fact, the clue that sealed the deal for us wasn't even hinted at during episode 7. Instead, it could be found on the Masked Singer's website for week seven.

Did this clue give away the Rabbit's identity? FOX

Under a photo of the Rabbit is a caption which reads: "He loves to sink his teeth into a big, fat Italian ice."

Ok, so Rabbit likes Italian Ice. Big deal.

When you pull apart this clue, however, the identity of the Rabbit becomes pretty clear — it's Joey Fatone.

In 2016, Fatone opened a brand new Hot Dog stand that takes his surname and pokes a little fun at it. The Orlando-based fast food joint known as Fat One's serves a tasty selection of wieners for customers to enjoy and if they find themselves a bit parched by the hot Florida sun, they can cool themselves off with a big fat Italian Ice.

Add to this all the earlier clues already linking Fatone to the Rabbit, and there isn't much room doubt.
