The first golf major of the year gets underway on Thursday as the 83rd edition of the Masters Tournament begins in Augusta, Georgia.
As usual, there will be narratives aplenty scattered around the famous old course's pristine greens and bunkers. From Tiger Woods looking for a 15th career major to Rory McIlroy seeking to complete a career Grand Slam and Patrick Reed bidding to become the first man in 17 years to retain the Green Jacket, there'll be plenty of storylines to keep an eye on.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the tournament.
When and where is The Masters?
The Masters begins on Thursday, April 11 and, bar particularly inclement weather, the last putt will be holed at some point on Sunday afternoon.
As is tradition, the Masters is the only one of the four majors to be played always on the same course. Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, will play host to the tournament for the 83rd time.

Both ESPN and CBS will broadcast the Masters, with the four days of play equally split between the two.
ESPN will broadcast the first and second round on Thursday and Friday, with CBS covering the two final rounds on Saturday and Sunday.
Scott Van Pelt will host ESPN's coverage of the tournament, while the familiar sound of Jim Nantz's voice will again accompany the fans through the final two rounds.
Live streaming of all the four rounds will be available on Masters.com and on the Masters' official app, with both also providing live coverage of the featured groups and of Amen Corner. Live streaming of the final two rounds will also be available on fuboTV.

Which players are in the field?
Having missed the tournament in 2016 and 2017, Tiger Woods is back at Augusta for the second consecutive year after finishing 32nd in 2018.
The Masters' field currently contains 86 players, the smallest since 1987. If quantity might be lacking, quality most certainly is not. Aside from Woods, defending champion Patrick Reed will tee off at Augusta, along with Sergio Garcia and Danny Willett, who won in 2017 and 2016 respectively.
The current top five golfers in the world—Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas—are also part of the field, as is five-time major winner Phil Mickelson. Jordan Spieth and Bubba Watson are also among the players taking part.
