Mega Millions Numbers, Results 2/1/19: Did Anyone Win The $125 Million Jackpot Friday (Last) Night?

Mega Millions latest jackpot on Friday night was worth $125 million with a cash option of $74.8 million. Did anyone get lucky enough to win Friday night's jackpot?

The Mega Million's drawing on Friday night was held at 11 p.m. EST. The winning numbers selected during the drawing were 02-37-48-66-68, Mega Ball 11, and Megaplier 5X, according to the Mega Millions website.

Although no one hit the jackpot, there were 15 people who won $10,000 after matching four of the winning numbers and the Mega Ball, the lottery website states. There were also two people who won $50,000 after matching four out of the five winning numbers and selected the winning Megaplier number. To check the numbers from previous drawings, click here.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be held on Tuesday night at 11 p.m. EST. The jackpot is now worth $139 million with a cash option of $84 million, according to the lottery website.

The popular lottery game is played across 44 states in the U.S., the Mega Millions website states. The drawings for the Mega Millions are held twice a week on Tuesday and Friday nights at 11 p.m. EST, according to the lottery website.

The last person to claim a Mega Millions prize was a man from Bayside, New York. Gerard McMahon, 68, claimed one million dollars on Thursday after he matched the five numbers drawn during the January 1 drawing.

"It's a very satisfying feeling," McMahon told lottery officials. "I am very happy and excited."

The winning ticket was purchased at the Mike & Faye Deli Grocery on 235th Street in Little Neck, New York. McMahon will receive the prize as a one-time lump sum payment and will receive a total of $633,040 after required withholdings, according to the Mega Millions website. He told lottery officials that he will use the money to spend on his grandchildren

"I plan to use the money to provide for my children and grandchildren and take a view trips," he said.

The $1.6 billion Mega Millions prize still remains unclaimed after the winning ticket was sold in South Carolina months ago. The numbers for the drawing, which took place on October 23, were 5-28-63-65-70, Mega Ball 5 and Megaplier 3x, according to the lottery website. It still remains unclear who purchased the winning ticket. The winner has until April 24 to claim the prize money.
