Mega Millions Numbers, Results for 5/28/19: Did Anyone Win Tuesday Night's Mega Millions Lottery Drawing?

The Mega Millions jackpot drawing for May 28, 2019, is for $418 million, and it would be the eighth-largest jackpot in the game's history if the grand prize is won. The winning numbers were announced at 11 p.m. ET.

Tonight's 05/28/19 jackpot is estimated at $418 million, with a cash option of $263.3 million. The total jackpot could increase depending on the number of tickets sold around the country prior to the drawing.

The winning numbers for May 24, 2019 were: 14-41-44-56-62 with a gold Mega Ball of 10. The Megaplier was 2. There was no grand prize winner for the $393 million jackpot on Friday, so now the purse for Tuesday rose by $25 million.

The May 24 drawing produced a total of 994,085 winning tickets at all prize levels. Friday night, there was a single ticket in New York that matched all five white balls, but missed out on the gold Mega Ball. There were 20 tickets that matched four of the five white balls and hit the gold Mega Ball.

May is the 17th anniversary of Mega Millions, and the fifth month of the year has also produced some of the game's biggest winners in history. If the winning numbers hit on Tuesday night, it would be among the eighth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery and one of America's two biggest lottery jackpot games. Jackpots start at $40 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier. Tickets are $2 and odds of winning with a $2 Mega Millions ticket are one in 303 million.
