Prince Harry and Meghan Markle offered their season's greetings with their first holiday photo as a married couple. The pair shared a stunning black-and-white photo of themselves hugging while gazing at fireworks, which was captured on their wedding night in May.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share a new photograph from their Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on 19th May," Kensington Palace announced on Twitter on Friday. "The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas Card, was taken by Chris Allerton."
The dazzling photo is just as glamorous—if not more—than the couple's engagement photos, particularly the photos of Markle, donning a sheer, embroidered Ralph and Russo gown, while sitting on Frogmore House steps with her then husband-to-be, who was dripping in a blue suit. Those photos were taken by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski.
Next year's holiday photo will likely be quite different since Harry and Markle will have another member of their family to show off. The couple is expecting their first child together sometime in spring 2019, which means come next Christmas there will be three royals depicted in the image.
Along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's holiday photo, Prince William also shared a new photograph of his family of five on Friday. In a more casual shot, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, appear in a woodsy area posing with their three children, 5-year-old Prince George, Princess Charlotte, 3, and 8-month-old Prince Louis, who make his first holiday portrait appearance.
The holiday photo was taken back in the late summer.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The photograph, taken by Matt Porteous, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children at Anmer Hall, and features on Their Royal Highnesses' Christmas card this year," Kensington Palace announced on Twitter.
