Megyn Kelly's Cryptic Jeffrey Epstein Message Goes Viral

"We're not done with Jeffrey Epstein," at least, according to Megyn Kelly.

On Wednesday, unsealed court records listed more than 100 of the sex offender's friends, acquaintances and business associates.

Prior to his arrest for sex trafficking charges in 2019, the late financier was known to mingle with the wealthy elite, with the documents featuring politicians, film stars, supermodels and business magnates.

Posting to TikTok on Thursday, Kelly called the news surrounding Epstein "fascinating."

"I can tell you that for a fact," the 53-year-old said in the snippet from her talk show host, The Megyn Kelly Show.

"I can't tell you how I know, but I can tell you for a fact, we're going to hear a lot more about Jeffrey Epstein in the coming year."

In the cryptic clip, Kelly said viewers "may be hearing" from Epstein directly, promising to reveal more as "she's allowed."

The mysterious message received over 950,000 views in just 12 hours, with followers eager to hear more.

"I just said the loudest WAIT WHAT out loud," wrote @haleymalynnp.

"Ummm ma'am, do not leave us with that cliffhanger," said @aprilkeeping.

Some users theorized that Epstein is still alive and hiding out somewhere. The hedge fund manager died by suicide in August 2019. The then-66-year-old was awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York at the time, after being arrested a few weeks earlier.

"Is he still alive? in protective custody perhaps?" asked @missmountainmama.

"Yeah the suicide was probably to protect him and those involved," said @ktkat126.

Others suggested that Kelly had reposted an old clip from her show to tease followers, or would be sharing previously unreleased footage or tapes of Epstein.

"What? Has to be recordings," commented @user19036946121288.

"Oh there's tapes that they are trying to stop from getting out," agreed @mischief_22.

"I'm gonna bet its a video deposition with him answering questions or possibly blowing the whistle in who all was a client," wrote Rick.

Newsweek has reached out to Megyn Kelly for comment via email.

The newly released documents were part of a court case filed by reported Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre in 2015. The anti-trafficking advocate sued Ghislaine Maxwell—Epstein's ex-girlfriend and accomplice—for defamation after the disgraced British socialite accused her of lying about the sexual abuse she suffered as a minor.

The case was settled in 2017, but Maxwell had battled to keep the court filings under wraps. The 62-year-old is currently serving 20 years in jail for her part in Epstein's operations, with the former club owner convicted of helping to groom and sex traffic dozens of underage girls.

On December 28, New York Judge Loretta Preska ordered that the documents be released. Preska said there is no reason to keep the papers sealed any longer, with speculation about the contents fueling conspiracy theories and misinformation on social media.

The filings are being released in batches, with roughly 250 documents in total. The first 60, unsealed on Wednesday, included political figures such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Al Gore, along with tech mogul Bill Gates, physicist Stephen Hawking, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, late pop icon Michael Jackson and actors Cate Blanchett, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz.

The second batch was unsealed on Thursday, but contained no new names. However, appearing in the forms does not mean a public figure has committed a crime or been accused of any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.

Celebrities such as Blanchett and Diaz only featured in the documents because Epstein "name-dropped" them—with no evidence that the actresses had even met the billionaire—while Hawking visited Epstein's Little St. James island in 2006. Hawking was attending a conference on gravity on the neighboring island St Thomas in March 2006.
