Melania Trump's Christmas Message Is Very Different From Her Husband's

Former first lady Melania Trump's Christmas message was quite different from her husband's.

In two separate posts on Truth Social on Monday, the former president shared a message to his followers wishing them a Merry Christmas while also speaking about many other things he is facing, such as the next presidential election, of which he is the leading GOP candidate, and the different legal cases.

His wife's message was much simpler.

"Merry Christmas," Melania Trump posted on X, formerly Twitter, as well as Facebook, Instagram and Truth Social on Monday morning, along with with multiple star emojis. She also shared a "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year" graphic with looping red font on an image of a holiday card.

Melania Trump's simple message was met with an onslaught of similar ones from other social media users wishing her the same.

Newsweek reached out to Melania Trump by email for comment.

Meanwhile, Trump's message was met with jokes and responses that mocked him for being void of festivity and resembling grinch-like behavior.

"It's hard to have a truly great Christmas when you have a Crooked and Incompetent President who wants to put his Political Opponent in jail, and who has been working hard (for a change!), illegally using all of the levers of Law Enforcement, to do so. We are in the fight of our lives to save our Country from MADNESS & DOOM. MAGA 2024!!!" Trump posted as one of his Christmas wishes.

Trump lashed out against government organizations like the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in another post that was written using capital letters. Trump referenced the 2024 election and the indictments against him several times in the posts.

However, the former president also shared a video message on Rumble that celebrated the birth of Jesus and extended blessings of safety to U.S. service members.

Melania Trump has been noticeably absent from her husband's court appearances and from many of his campaign stops. Her Christmas message more closely resembled President Joe Biden's than her husband's.

Biden also kept his holiday message simple.

"From our family to yours: Merry Christmas, America," Biden wrote in a post on X alongside an image of a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts on Monday morning.

Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., also posted a simple message.

"Merry Christmas all," he wrote on X on Sunday, accompanied by a photo of his father pointing toward a Merry Christmas sign.
