Mia Khalifa's post about Beyoncé is taking over social media following speculation that the singer is about to announce a new tour.
The R&B icon released her first country album, Cowboy Carter, on March 29, with the record becoming Spotify's most streamed album in a single day in 2024.
It appears that Khalifa is a fan of Queen Bey's new sound, honoring the vocalist with a post on X, formerly Twitter.
The former adult film star shared a historical photo from the account Middle East & North Africa Visuals (@menavisualss).
Taken in 1976 by Armenian-Egyptian photographer Van Leo, the image shows Egyptian pop star Sherihan, then aged 14, posing in a cowboy costume—including waistcoat, boots and hat.
"Me at the Cowboy Carter tour, 2024," Khalifa wrote alongside the snap. The 31-year-old grew up in Lebanon, and regularly discusses her Middle Eastern heritage and issues that are important to her on social media, such as the war between Israel and Hamas.
Since being shared on Thursday, Khalifa's post has received over 419,000 views.
"Hahah same energy," commented Dilshad Khan.
"Giddy up," joked Cody.
"Girl let me tag along, got my [outfit] ready too," said Troncaritto, sharing a childhood photo of himself dressed as a cowboy.
Rumors that Beyoncé was working on a country album had been circling for a while before the 42-year-old announced Cowboy Carter in February. Newsweek has contacted Beyoncé's representatives via email.
The former Destiny's Child star broke the news during Super Bowl LVIII, appearing in a Wild West-themed Verizon ad. Two tracks from the album—"Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages"—dropped exclusively on the streaming platform Tidal shortly afterward.
Despite only being out for one week, Cowboy Carter has already broken multiple records. The track "Texas Hold 'Em" made Beyoncé the first woman to top both the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Cowboy Carter was streamed 76.5 million times on its first day of release, becoming the most listened-to album of 2024 so far.
Beyoncé even got a shoutout from country music legend Dolly Parton, after the Grammy winner covered Parton's 1974 hit "Jolene." The 78-year-old shared the track list and cover art of Cowboy Carter to her Instagram Story, telling followers: "Listen to my original 'Jolene' while you wait for @Beyonce's COWBOY CARTER."
Although Beyoncé's hugely successful Renaissance World Tour only ended in November, fans are already speculating that the singer will hit the road again soon.
Alongside Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé launched a new website called "Been Country," while The-Dream, who collaborated with Beyoncé on the album, hinted at a tour on social media.
"This tour bout to B' Incredible!" he wrote on X, while celebrating Cowboy Carter's release.
