Michael Cohen Has 'All the Tapes' and 'We're Taking Trump Down Together,' Says Tom Arnold

On the hunt for long-rumored and potentially damaging tapes featuring President Donald Trump, comedian Tom Arnold has reached the man who for years worked to make such things disappear. Now, Arnold suggested, the president's former personal attorney Michael Cohen is ready to join forces to take his former boss "down."

Arnold has been working on a show for Vice called The Hunt for the Trump Tapes, in which he combines his Hollywood contacts and comedic talents "to dig for evidence on Trump's most incriminating moments," the media company said when announcing the show last month.

On Thursday, Arnold tweeted a photo of himself with a smiling Cohen, and the message "I love New York." The post was retweeted by Cohen.

"We've been on the other side of the table, and now we're on the same side," Arnold told NBC News Friday. "It's on! I hope he [Trump] sees the picture of me and Michael Cohen and it haunts his dreams."

Arnold, who was formerly married to prominent Trump supporter Roseanne Barr, is a longtime critic of the current president. He now claims that Trump's self-described "fixer" is ready to jump on board in his effort to destroy the Trump presidency.

"This dude has all the tapes—this dude has everything," Arnold said.

He continued: "I say to Michael, 'Guess what? We're taking Trump down together, and he's so tired he's like, 'OK,' and his wife is like, 'OK, f*** Trump.'"

Cohen's loyalty to the president has been questioned in recent weeks after his home, office and hotel room were raided by the FBI in April. Among the records seized were reportedly those pertaining to his payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels shortly before the 2016 election, in order to keep her quiet over an alleged affair with Trump.

Cohen changed his legal team earlier this week and, according to a Wall Street Journal report, has grown frustrated that Trump has not offered to cover his mounting legal costs.

"Michael Cohen showed up and worked diligently above and beyond and sacrificed, and Donald Trump is like, 'I don't even know who he is.' You think Michael doesn't notice that?" Arnold said.

Just weeks after Trump was elected in 2016, and after an Access Hollywood recording featuring Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women surfaced, Arnold, a former contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, claimed he had far more damaging tapes about the then president-elect.

"I have the outtakes to The Apprentice where he says every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever," Arnold told Seattle-based radio station KIRO. "It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children."
