Minecraft Mob Vote 2022 Times and Choices

Minecraft fans are no stranger to the yearly mob vote. The annual event has returned once again to Mojang's popular sandbox building game, and things are already heating up. Once a year, fans have the chance to elect a new mob, or type of beings in the world of Minecraft. That could be a new monster, villager or something else entirely.

As you can probably imagine, things get a little rowdy when fans all over the world get a chance to weigh in on the latest choices, but it's a democratic election, and the people will speak their minds ahead of a live stream happening on Saturday, October 15. That means there's just about 24 hours before an official decision surrounding the new Minecraft mob is locked in.

But this year, things have changed quite a bit when it comes to voting. It's a simpler process this time around, but it definitely won't be familiar to everyone. You won't be able to simply cast your vote via Twitter, but there are multiple places where you can make your voice heard.

Confused on how to vote for your favorite new Minecraft mob? Want to know which mobs are up for consideration? Read on, and we'll let you know exactly what to expect from the 2022 Minecraft Mob Vote.

Minecraft Mob Vote 2022
The "Minecraft" Mob Vote 2022 is commencing, and that means players from all around the world can vote on what the next "Minecraft" mob should be. Results will be announced on Saturday, October 15, and... Mojang

How to Vote for the 2022 Minecraft Mob

You have three different locations to choose from when it comes to voting for the next Minecraft mob. You can do so via the Minecraft website, via the Minecraft launcher, or in a special map in the Bedrock Edition of the game.

To vote on the website, just head to Minecraft.net and log in with the Microsoft account tied to your Minecraft game account. You'll be able to select a mob from there. It's the simplest way to vote without having to go in-game, and will likely be the easiest way to make sure you can get your friends in on the cause if it's important to them, too.

To vote in the Minecraft launcher, just load up your game and look at the tabs to the left in your sidebar. You will see an option to cast your vote there. That's all there is to it! Otherwise, you can go in-game and explore the special themed map and take part in the event from there. Those three ways will get your voice heard in no time, so you'll be good to go by the time Saturday rolls around.

You have three Minecraft mob choices to vote for this year:

  • Rascal: Mine-dwelling mobs that love to play hide and seek and offer prizes in return for solving their clues three times in a row.
  • Sniffer: These creatures are actually extinct, but that won't keep them from coming to Minecraft! They can help seek ancient seeds hidden in the ground and dig them up for you to plant, and even eventually become much larger creatures.
  • Tuff Golem: This adorable golem can hold items, walk around your base, and even carry items for you. You can customize their cloaks, too.

You have from Friday, October 14, through Saturday, October 15, at 12 p.m. ET to make sure you let the world know which mob you're most excited for. Be sure you don't forget to vote!
