Ranking the 'Mortal Kombat 11' Fatalities

Fatalities are a huge part of what makes Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat. The latest entry in the long-running franchise, Mortal Kombat 11 , brings a new slew of deadly, bloody and straight up gross finishers for players to perform.

Each fighter in MK 11 has two Fatalities with the second being locked in the Krypt. Of course, you can still perform the second Fatality if you haven't found it yet - we compiled a list of all the Fatalities, here - so you can try them out on your own.

For our rankings of all 50 Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11 we put them in tiers. We explain what each tier means and the order of Fatalities within each tier is no particular order. If you disagree, let us know your favorites in the comments section below.

MORTAL KOMBAT 11 FATALITIES RANKED

OK?

This first tier is for the Fatalities that didn't really do anything for me. They were either too short or just completely cheesy. There are only two Fatalities in this tier and while they imbue the fighter's characters they just don't feel like Fatalities. These are the goofiest finishers in the game.

Kano - Last Dance

Johnny Cage - Mr. Cage's Neighborhood

YUP, THAT'S A FATALITY

This tier represents the finishers that are good, but don't make me double take.

Sonya Blade - To The Choppa

Cassie Cage - #GirlPower

Jax - Still Got It

Raiden - Direct Current

Erron Black - Melted

Kollector - For the Kollection

WHOA, THATS DOPE

Ok now we're getting into the good stuff. This tier represents those Fatalities that made me laugh at how outrageous and bloody they are. This part has the largest number of finishers of any of the other tiers because, for the most part, Mortal Kombat 11 offers some inventive, and crazy, Fatalities.

Kollector - Head Lantern

Erron Black - Death Trap

Shao Kahn - Back Blown Out'

Jacqui Briggs - Spider Mines

Johnny Cage - Who Hired this Guy?

Scorpion - You're Next

Frost - The Cyber Initiative

Frost - Ice Sculpture

Cassie Cage - I

Liu Kang - Burn Out

Liu Kang - Belly of the Beast

Sonya Blade - Supply Drop

Kotal Kahn - Totem Sacrifice

Kotal Kahn - Kat Food

Jax - Coming in Hot

Noob Saibot - Split Decision

Baraka - Rock, Paper, Barak

Raiden - Alternating Current

Sub-Zero - Ice-Cutioner

Sub-Zero - Frozen in Time

Kano - Face Like a Dropped Pie

Kitana - Gore-Nado

Kung Lao - Headed Nowhere

Kung Lao - Meat Slicer

Jade - Bow Before Me

Jade - Pole Dance

Skarlet - Bloody Mess

Skarlet - Heart Kondition

Geras - Phasing Through Time

Cetrion - Good and Evil

THAT'S GROSS AND AWESOME!

This next tier takes awesome and inventive finishers and adds something that made me cringe while watching. That cringe factor is different for everyone, but biting into a brain, cutting someone's achilles, or peeling back skin is pretty bad in my book.

Baraka - Food for Thought

Shao Kahn - Kahn-Sequences

Jacqui Briggs - Nothin' But Neck

Cetrion - Maintaining Balance

Noob Saibot - Double Trouble

Scorpion - Chain Reaction

Kabal - Road Rash

Kabal - Hooked

Kitana - Royal Execution

D'Vorah - Can't Die

Geras - Peeling Back

OMG

There's only one choice for this tier and just watching it - no matter how many times - makes me say "why would you think of this?" If you haven't seen it already, you have to. This Fatality will go down as one of the best in franchise history. It's easily the best (and grossest) finisher in Mortal Kombat 11.

D'Vorah - New Species
