Will Arnett has recruited his celebrity pals to help him solve a series of murders in the new semi-improvised comedy show Murderville on Netflix.
The format from the show is adopted from the British series Murder in Successville where celebrities, without a script, are walked through a crime scene and when given clues, must guess who the real killer is. Will Arnett plays the lead investigator, Senior Detective Terry Seattle, who walks the unknowing celebrity through each scenario.
Joining Arnett as some of the only actors on the show are Haneefah Wood as Chief Rhonda Jenkins-Seattle, Lilan Bowden as Amber Kang and Philip Smithey as Det. Darren "Daz" Phillips.
There are six celebrities guests due to appear across the first six episodes of Murderville. Here's the full list of everyone scheduled to join Arnett in the new Netflix comedy.
Conan O'Brien
Late night legend Conan O'Brien is the first celebrity roped in to help Arnett's Detective Terry Seattle solve a crime in the dangerous town of Murderville.
O'Brien recently brought his talk show career to an end by ending Conan on TBS after signing a deal to produce content for HBO.
Sharon Stone
While many of the guests taking part in Murderville are known for their comedic work, Sharon Stone could bring some drama to the proceedings. She's played characters involved with plenty of crimes across film and TV, but she's never been asked to solve a murder on the fly in front of the camera.
Kumail Nanjiani
Actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani is taking a break from his recent role as a superpowered Marvel hero to help Arnett solve a murder. Early images for the series show Nanjiani's case in Episode 3 takes the investigation to a high school.
Annie Murphy
Schitt's Creek and Kevin Can F**k Himself star Annie Murphy is the star of Episode 4 of Murderville. Early images show Murphy gets involved with the case by going undercover in disguise, as well as serving food in another scenario.
Marshawn Lynch
The only Murderville participant who is not an actor, NFL star Marshawn Lynch is trying his hand at crime solving in Episode 5. The athlete has made a couple of appearances in TV shows in the past, most notably as Giggles in the sci-fi drama Westworld.
Ken Jeong
Comedian, actor and licensed physician Ken Jeong rounds out the first series of Murderville by starring in the final episode.
When is Murderville on Netflix?
All six episodes of Murderville will become available to watch on Netflix when it launches on Thursday, February 3.
The series is directed by Iain Morris and Brennan Shroff. Tom Davis, co-creator of the original British series Murder in Successville, is credited as an executive producer of this American adaptation.
