Netflix, Amazon, Hulu: The Shows and Films Coming and Going in May

Your very healthy instinct to leave the house, go to work and socialize could well be thwarted in May.

Netflix has a dizzying month ahead, with new seasons of some of its most popular shows—including Master of None, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, House of Cards and Sense8—as well as a slew of new original series and films, and comedy specials from Tracy Morgan, Hasan Minaj, Maria Bamford and Norm Macdonald. Meanwhile, Amazon brings its Oscar-winning film Manchester By the Sea and the new original series I Love Dick, adapted from Chris Kraus's 1997 novel of the same name, to its Prime streaming service, and Hulu launches the third season of its original series Casual and the documentaries Batman & Bill and Becoming Bond.

Beyond the originals, the three platforms will add movies such as Moonlight, Forrest Gump, The Wizard of Oz, A Hologram for the King, Life is Beautiful and Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and they will feature recent and new episodes from shows such as The Fosters, Boardwalk Empire, Royal Pains and Twin Peaks.
