Former WWE Star Neville Returns at Dragon Gate

Former WWE Superstar Neville made a surprise return to wrestling at Japan's Dragon Gate promotion on Tuesday. Going by his old ring name, PAC, Neville showed up at the show in Tokyo to team up with Eita Kobayashi. The duo defeated Shingo Takagi and BxB Hulk in a tag match, with Neville utilizing his Red Arrow finisher.

The news of Neville's return has the wrestling community buzzing, as the high-flyer has been out of action for almost a year.

Neville walked away from the WWE in the second half of 2017, with reports stating he was tired of being pigeonholed into the 205 Live division. Ironically, Neville's career saw a resurgence on 205 Live, as he turned heel and became a ruthless champion, with feuds against other members of the roster, especially Austin Aries.

Reports from the Dragon Gate show say Neville came out with the heel faction R.E.D. and cut a post-match promo, telling fans he'd destroy their favorite stars. Check out the backstage promo below.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reported in August that Neville was no long under his WWE contract and was free to work with other promotions, but the wrestler maintained radio silence. This isn't Neville's first time in Dragon Gate. PAC was a mainstay in the Japanese promotion from 2007-2012 before signing with the WWE's NXT.
