We've put together a handy list of food chains which will have stores open on the 1st, although it's always worth checking in with the specific restaurant you plan on visiting as locations are sometimes independently operated.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Most Buffalo Wild Wings locations will be open during normal business hours on New Year's Day
Carl's Jr.
Many Car's Jr. fast food restaurants will be open on the 1st but this will vary depending on the specific location, as will the opening hours.
Chili's Grill & Bar
If you're in the mood for Tex-Mex, you'll be glad to hear that most Chili's restaurants will be open regular hours, but check with the location you plan on visiting.

Most Chick-fil-A fast food joints will be open on New Year's Day.
