It's New Year's Day and you might have a new year resolution involving some healthy new eating habits or are in dire need of snacks after a night of partying. Either way, there are several grocery stores that can satisfy all your food needs.
Newsweek has rounded up a list of grocery stores and wholesale clubs that are open on New Year's Day.
Publix News Year's Day Close Time
Most Publix stores will open at regular hours and close at 7 p.m., the company said. However, stores located in the following Florida counties will open at 7 a.m. on New Year's Day: Broward, Dade, Indian River, Martin, Monroe, Okkechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie. All Publix pharmacies will be closed on Tuesday.
Safeway, Shaw's News Year's Day Hours
Safeway stores will be open normal hours on New Year's Day.
Shaw's and Star Markets will be open during New Year's Day, but hours will vary between locations.
New Year's Day Kroger, Hannaford Hours
Kroger will be open on New Year's Day, but pharmacy hours will vary by location.
The New England-based Hannaford grocery stores will be open on Tuesday. Hours may vary by location. Be sure to call your nearest store for hours of operation.
Wegmans New Year's Day Hours
Wegmans stores will open bright and early on January 1, starting at 7 a.m.
Whole Foods, WInnDixie New Year's Day Hours
Health foodies will be happy to know that Whole Foodswill open at 10 a.m. on New Year's Day and close at 7 p.m.
WinnDixie, which will be open on New Year's Eve, will also be opening its stores on the first day of 2019. Hours vary by location, be sure to call your nearest store for open and close times.
News Year's Day Hours For Target, Other Stores
Target will be open during regular hours on Tuesday. While hours may vary by location, Target is typically operational from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
All Stop & Shop stores will be open normal hours on New Year's Day. Likewise, Walmart will also be open normal hours on December 31.
BJ's Wholesale Club will be open on New Year's Day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Market Basket, which is based in Massachusetts, will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The following stores will be open on Tuesday, January 1: Ralphs, ACME Markets, Vons, Albertsons, ShopRite and Fairway.
Trader Joes, Sam's Club, Costco Holiday Hours
The following grocery stores will be closed on January 1, 2019: Trader Joe'sand Aldi.
The following membership-only wholesale clubs will be closed on New Year's Day: Sam's Club and Costco.
