Outdoor concert season has officially started in New York City. Superstar K-Pop band BTS kicked off the first free concert of the season when they appeared on the Good Morning America stage during the morning news show's 11th annual Summer Concert series on Tuesday.
While that particular show was a free-but-ticketed event, there will be plenty of other free performances open to the public on a first-come-first-serve basis throughout the rest of the summer during the Summerstage concert series in Central Park, the annual BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival at Prospect Park and plenty of others.
