New York Fashion Week 2018: Full Schedule, How To Get Tickets And More

New York Fashion Week (NYFW) returns Thursday, where the industry's heavy hitters will prepare to showcase the trends to come during the Spring/Summer 2019 season. Designers from all over the world are slated to venture to the big apple to premiere their offerings.

The first-ever NYFW was created by Eleanor Lambert, a prominent name in American fashion and public relations, in 1943. Since this, NYFW has been considered as a highly-exclusive affair. Celebrities, buyers, the media and industry influencers prove to dominate the scene. Fashion lovers, however, can still gain access to the semi-annual event without being famous.

NYFW offers two types of shows: industry and open-to-the-public. Industry shows, where the major designers showcase their collections, are invitation only. Open-to-the-public events, however, are accessible to all who wish to attend. To purchase tickets, fashionistas can head to Fashion Week Online's website. This years' shows can additionally be viewed online free via NYFW's official website.

Fans can partake in NYFW festivities without having a seat next to Anna Wintour herself. Multiple events and attractions across the city, including Refinery29's 29Rooms, the Fashion Fun House at Moxy Times Square, SmartGlamour Runway Show and WWD Style Dimension's are accessible to the general public.

NYFW SS19's schedule is jam-packed. Designers from Jeremy Scott to Coach 1941 to Ralph Lauren to Carolina Herrera are set to premiere their collections. Tom Ford, for one, kicked off its runway show Wednesday ahead of NYFW that featured models Kaia Gerber and Gigi Hadid. "Today, we are going pink to pay tribute to creator of the Fashion Calendar, Ruth Finley who passed away at 98 last week," NYFW tweeted Thursday. "Finley launched her pink-sheeted Fashion Calendar in 1945, we thank her for creating what we celebrate today."

A printable version of the NYFW SS19 schedule can be viewed here, but the full lineup of what's to come can additionally be found below:
