After battling it out during divisional rounds of the playoffs, the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints will head to the gridiron for the title of NFC Champion and a shot at the Super Bowl.
The Rams defeated the Dallas Cowboys 30 -22 on January 12, earning them a spot in the conference championship. On Sunday, the Saints also solidified their position in the conference championship game when, while playing at their home stadium, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 20 - 14.
Going into Sunday's game, the Saints were the number one seed of the NFC and the Rams finished the season as the second seed.
When, Where and What Time Is the Game?
Since the Saints are the higher seeded team, the game will be played in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday. Kickoff for the game is scheduled to begin at 3:05 p.m. EST.
What Channel Is It On?
The championship game will be broadcast live on television by Fox across the country on its network stations.
How Can I Live-Stream the Game?
For those who aren't able or interested in turning on the television and flipping to a channel, there are a number of ways to watch the game through a live-stream. With Fox Sports Go, the NFL game will be available on most iOS devices, Android devices and Windows PCs and tablets. It can be downloaded on iOS devices from the App Store and is available for Android devices through the Google Play Store.
Although the live-stream is available for no extra charge, users must have access to the channel through a participating television provider. Users who want to access the live-stream will be asked to sign in to an account with a television company.
Football fans can also live-stream the game through fuboTV, which requires a subscription. However, there is a promotion that allows new users to try the service out for a limited time.
How Many More Games Are Left Until the Super Bowl?
After the Rams play the Saints, the New England Patriots will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs at 6:40 p.m. EST. The winners of each game will go on to the Super Bowl, which will take place on February 3 at 6:30 p.m. EST in Atlanta.
