Preview Notes:

*Texans second-year quarterback Deshaun Watson will make his preseason debut tonight. He was out last year after a torn ACL, so fans will be looking to see how he responds. But don't expect more than a short cameo appearance, according to the Chronicle.

*The 49ers are expected to be good in 2018, with ESPN projecting an 11-5 record. "The 49ers have plenty of buzz after their 5-0 finish to last season but that also leaves them with much to prove as expectations soar. Still, the Niners have what looks like a manageable schedule and one that is particularly team-friendly on the back end," ESPN reported.
