NFL TV Schedule: What Time, TV Channel is Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets? Odds, Preview, Where to Watch

Week 3 of the NFL is set to get underway on Thursday night with a matchup featuring the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets.

The Browns (0-1-1) come into the game winless on the year after going winless all last season. The Jets, meanwhile, have gone 1-1 with rookie QB Sam Darnold looking pretty impressive under-center thus far.

Cleveland's own rookie quarterback, No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield, remains on the bench despite some people thinking he should get a chance to lead the Browns. But starter Tyrod Taylor doesn't appear to be going anywhere just yet and he looked a bit better in the team's Week 2 loss after a dismal opener.

"It wasn't everything," Taylor said this week, according to ESPN. "But there were definitely some areas of growth there and was definitely something to walk away from that game encouraged by."

The Browns fell to the New Orleans Saints by a score of 21-18 in Week 2. Taylor connected on 22 of 30 passes for 246 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Darnold, meanwhile, has an 88.9 QB rating through two games but was picked off twice in a Week 2 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He is learning on the job and will have less time to prepare for the Thursday night matchup.

"Yeah, it's a different challenge, something that I haven't necessarily dealt with," Darnold said, according to ESPN. "But it's awesome."

While the Browns have struggled mightily over the past few years, the Jets will have to play Cleveland on the road and the Browns have seemed like a much more talented squad this season.

In fact, according to Odds Shark, most oddsmakers have Cleveland as a three-point favorite in the Thursday night game.

Here's everything else you need to know for the game, including where and how to watch.
