NFL Week Betting Odds and Predictions: Spread, Expert Picks for Every Game

The best game of the NFL's Week 8 might be the last game on Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings (4-2) are scheduled to host the New Orleans Saints (5-1) on Monday night in a matchup that'll feature two division leaders who are expected to be contenders in the playoffs.

At 39 years old, Saints quarterback Drew Brees has, somehow, looked as good as ever. He has completed an insane 77 percent of his passes this season, connected for 13 touchdowns (with zero interceptions) and has a QB rating of 121.6.

"This guy's amazing," Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said about Brees ahead of the game, via ESPN. "I always thought when you talk about Hall of Fame quarterbacks, obviously he's going to be one, but he's very cerebral, accurate. He's moving well in the pocket. I was watching tape today on him like, 'How old is this guy?' I thought he was getting old, but he moves well in the pocket."

The Saints are coming off a nail-biter, 24-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens that was aided by kicker Justin Tucker's first missed extra point as a pro. The Vikings, meanwhile, largely rolled over the New York Jets last week. Week 8 will be the rematch of last year's playoff game that saw Minnesota win on a miracle, last-second play.

"I think the Saints will come in with a chip on their shoulder because that's who they are," Zimmer said, via the team website. "They're very aggressive on defense. They're aggressive offensively. They've got a good football team. So I don't know. It was a long time ago."
