The Nintendo Switch is one of the best-selling gaming consoles of all time and has captured gamers' attention with its innovative TV and handheld mode-switching and acclaimed video game library, including some titles nominated at The Game Awards this year.

The base Nintendo Switch console retails for $300. The updated OLED version, released in 2021 with a higher-quality screen, retails for $350. And the trimmed-down Nintendo Switch Lite, which only supports a handheld mode, sells for $200.

There are deals for all three Nintendo Switch versions this Black Friday.

Black Friday Deals on Nintendo Switch Games

Nintendo Switch games usually cost $60. Although some games are priced at $50 or $70.

What Are Best Places to Shop for Nintendo Switch on Black Friday?

Major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Dell, GameStop, Target and Walmart, all have great deals on Nintendo Switch products this Black Friday.

If you have the time, it's best to look for the deals from each retailer. Shop around for the consoles, games and accessories you want to get the most savings.

Can You Buy Directly from Nintendo Store on Black Friday?

Nintendo Switch consoles and games are available from the official Nintendo Store. However, there are no Black Friday deals available on the Nintendo Store at this time. So you're better off shopping elsewhere for the best savings.

Should You Wait for Nintendo Switch 2?

The Nintendo Switch is almost 7 years old. Many recent games have pushed the limits of the console's hardware.

However, Nintendo has not yet announced its next generation console, colloquially called the Switch 2, although it has no official name yet.

Reporting from Video Games Chronicle suggests that the console could be released in the second half of 2024. Nintendo has said they want Switch games to be playable on future consoles.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the Switch 2 right now, we cannot recommend waiting for it if you have your eyes on the Switch or any of its exclusive games.
