Family and friends of Olivia Nova created a GoFundMe page for the porn star on Tuesday, following the news of her sudden death. Twenty-year-old Nova, whose birth name is Lexi Rose Forte, was discovered dead in Las Vegas on Sunday. Authorities have yet to determine the actress's cause of death.

In December, two other adult movie stars, Amber Ames and Yurizan Beltran, died from suicide and an overdose respectively. Nova's mother, Leslie Forte, told Newsweek via email that she did not think her daughter died from either of those causes.

In addition to her mother, the Minnesota native is survived by a 17-year-old brother, David, a 7-year-old sister, Macie, and her beloved dog, Rocko.

Titled "Closure for Lexi Rose," the GoFundMe was launched to help pay for travel arrangements as Leslie Forte heads to Las Vegas to retrieve Rocko and her daughter's belongings. Donations will also be used to cover funeral expenses and costs to transport Nova back to Minnesota, where she will be laid to rest. "We are asking that friends and loved ones of Lexi rally together to support her family during this time of need, whether it be by prayer, good vibes or a monetary donation," the GoFundMe statement read.

Nova was considered a rising star in the adult film industry after signing with LA Direct Models in March 2017. The young actress and model appeared in over 20 pornographic modeling shots after joining the agency, and performed in videos for Brazzers, Vixen, Naughty America, Digital Sin, among other sites.

Despite less than a year in the adult film business, Nova had developed a following with over 21,000 followers on Twitter. She had bigger dreams, too. In a September interview with photographer Dave Naz, Nova said she planned to earn a dgree and launch a nonprofit organization within the next 10 years.

Nova entered the porn industry by chance. In early 2017, she told Naz, "I was scouted one day. A woman just gave me her card, and then I was kinda just rushed into the industry."
