Owner Gets 'Mean' Cat a Companion That Matches His Energy

A cat owner has left the internet in stitches after getting their "mean" cat an appropriate companion that "matches his energy."

In a TikTok last Wednesday, threenawtycats shared a clip of the grumpy tabby cat swiping and biting at their finger for trying to pet him as he rests inside his tree.

A caption shared along with the clip says: "My cat is mean so I decided to get him a companion that matches his energy. I think they're gonna be great friends."

As the camera pans back after the cat-tempted assault, viewers are shown the spicy kitty's new "friend" — a seemingly life-size Chucky doll (sporting his signature red hair, and overalls while yielding a knife) sitting in the corner next to the green felt cat tree.

Spicy Kitty Behavior Explained:

Some cats love being the center of their owner's attention while others prefer spending their time on their own, and even run at the idea of getting picked up by their owner. But what prompts this behavior?

Vet Help Direct explains that their hate for being picked up is not uncommon; in fact, it's quite common instinctive behavior among felines. However, it may also be the case that your cat wasn't socialized enough to accept it.

Moreover, it could be due to anxiety or even to their specific breed, and in the worst cases, it could also be due to a medical problem. Cats in pain will often actively avoid being touched to hide their pain and discomfort, experts say.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 747,600 views and 41,600 likes on the platform.

"Its a matching set!" said one user of Chucky and his purr-fect feline friend.

"He's currently plotting your death!" said another in a comment that received hundreds of likes.

Others took the time to reflect on their own experiences.

One user, yes_really_6_ft_4, commented: "I've had cats my entire life and I've never experienced a mean one. I think it would break my heart." And Carol said: "My cat just randomly attacks my ankles and face for no reason biting me."

Mina B added: "Did you try to get him ostheo practice, my cat was very aggressive so I booked an ostheo practice for her and doctor found out she had the whole right side stuck and painful, like VERY painful after few sessions she became the most adorable cat ever, try to check if he doesn't have a medical condition."
