Patrick Mahomes' mom has posted a mysterious message about Satan to social media, following her son Jackson's legal struggles and the online trolling of her daughter-in-law, Brittany Mahomes.
Randi Martin (@RandiMahomes) uploaded a cryptic post to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, warning people of devilish intervention.
"Pray for your circle," the 51-year-old's graphic read. "Because when Satan can't touch you, he'll test everything around you."
Although Martin didn't say which of her loved ones is being tested, the mom-of-three regularly hits out at bullies attacking her family on social media.
Alongside Kansas City Chiefs' star Patrick Mahomes, Martin is also mom to social media influencer Jackson Mahomes, sharing her sons with ex-husband Pat Mahomes Sr. The event planner also has a teenage daughter named Tia from a different relationship.
Martin hit out at people online following Jackson Mahomes' arrest in May. The 23-year-old was charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery and a fourth misdemeanor count of battery, after allegedly assaulting a Kansas City bar owner.
The three felony charges against Jackson were dropped in January, after the accuser reportedly failed to cooperate with prosecutors. The misdemeanor charge of battery remains, with Jackson pleading not guilty.
In October, Jackson watched his brother's team take on the Los Angeles Chargers from a VIP box. Sharing the luxury suite with Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce, Mahomes presence at the game sparked uproar online.
Social media users criticized Swift for hanging out with Jackson, as well as Patrick's wife Brittany Mahomes, who has defended her brother-in-law on social media.
Martin took to X to defend her son and daughter-in-law, writing: "I will never understand bullies and liars.. it's honestly not ok..."
When trolls attacked Brittany's fashion sense online in December, Martin supported her daughter-in-law by liking a social media post defending the 28-year-old.
She also praised Brittany's Belize beach shoot for Sports Illustrated on Friday.
The former soccer star will appear in the magazine's 60th-anniversary swimsuit issue, but the announcement led to a barrage of negative comments on Instagram.
Martin shared a clip of Brittany's shoot to her Stories, writing: "That's my daughter-in-law!!! You are rocking it Brit, as always. Love you."
An Evangelical Christian, Martin regularly shares religious messages and Bible verses on social media.
On February 2, the event planner shared a graphic quoting Proverbs 3:5-6 (NV) to Instagram. The verse tells followers to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Following news of Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel, Martin took to social media to ask for God's help.
About 1,200 people were killed in the Palestinian militant group's assault, with another 240 people taken as hostages. Israel subsequently launched airstrikes and a ground offensive into the territory. As of February 9, over 27,000 Gazans have been killed, the Associated Press reported.
"Lord please heal our world," Martin wrote on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. "In the name of Jesus Christ amen."
She also previously praised Denver Broncos' quarterback Tim Tebow, after the 36-year-old painted "John: 3:16" under his eyes during the 2019 championship game.
"When Tim Tebow wore John 3:16 on his eye black during the 2019 championship game, over 92 million people looked that verse up on Google," she said on X.
"That means over 92 million people heard the Gospel just because one man took a stand for Jesus!"
