Pet Insurance Worker Reveals the Best Names She Has Ever Come Across

Picking the right name for your pet is important, whether it's because it reminds you of something special or you know it just suits them, we all have different reasons for our pet name choices.

But some people come up with more unusual names than others for their beloved animals. Traditional pet names like Bella and Max aren't for everyone, and one insurance company has shared some of the best and strangest pet names they've seen on their records.

In a video on TikTok with 2.3 million views, Figo Pet Insurance revealed an unofficial list of the best names—and the results left the internet in stitches.

Among the standout names are "Napkin," "Sweet Kiss," "Convict," "Black Eyed Susan," "Tomato Soup," "Dr. Mitts Typson," "Meemaw," "Tod the Beagle," "Onion," "Mushroom Socks," and "Huge." Each name has its own unique story, reflecting the individual personalities and preferences of the pets and their owners.

Earlier this month pet experts Rover revealed the top pet names of 2023, including Kelce, Alanis and Shakira.

But the stand-out names that captured attention on the insurance list have left millions of viewers on TikTok laughing.

People even started picking their favorites out to highlight some that hadn't made it into the center spot in the video.

"Napkin was cool, but right below is Nargles," said Dera, while Sabrina said: "This is the BEST thing I've seen all week. Thank you."

Some started sharing other unusual pet name experiences. BecRael09 wrote: "I work for a rescue. My faves were two identical white guinea pigs named dishcloth 1 and dishcloth 2."

Another viewer said: "My chicken is called Repecka and we get laughs all the time."

It wasn't all about the intentionally unusual names either, Lucy revealed how her pet ended up with an unusual name: "My cat's name is Oli," she said in a comment. "But my vet office incorrectly put his name down as Oil and I never corrected them."

This isn't the first time Figo Pet have shared their favorite pet names from their records, in fact, this video is part 11 of the "best pet names I've seen working in pet insurance."

Earlier versions including other brilliant and unusual names like "Mr. Ugly" and even "Home Depot."

"My friend's son named their dog Ratmouse and I think it's hilarious," said another TikTok viewer.
