The international break will temporarily put the brakes on the MLS season, with only five games scheduled for this weekend.

One of those matches could have major implications for the Eastern Conference, as the Columbus Crew could at least momentarily move to the top of the table when they face Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of their match.

When and where is the game?

After two consecutive games on the road, The U returns in front of its fans on Sunday, when it hosts Columbus at the Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pennsylvania. The Crew's only away of the season was a 2-0 win against New England two weeks ago.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 23.

TV info

The game will be broadcast on TV on PHL 17 in the Philadelphia area and on FOX Sports Ohio. Out-of-market viewers in the U.S. can catch all the action on MLS Live on ESPN+. The game will also be streamed live on FuboTV and SlingTV.

The Crew could move top of the Eastern Conference with a win, while Philadelphia is still looking for its first win of the campaign, but the bookmakers believe The Union can spring an upset this weekend.

According to OddsShark, Philadelphia is a +110 favorite, while the draw and a Columbus win are +280 and +233, respectively.

Recent form

Philadelphia enters the weekend bottom of the table in the Eastern Conference on goal difference.

Like the Chicago Fire and the New England Revolution, Philadelphia has a solitary point, which it picked up last week with a 1-1 draw on the road against defending MLS Cup champion Atlanta United.

The Union's only home of the season ended with a 3-1 defeat against Toronto on opening weekend.

Columbus, by contrast, are in much healthier shape. After drawing 1-1 at home to New York Red Bulls in the first game of the season, The Crew beat New England on the road and FC Dallas at home, scoring three goals and keeping two clean sheets.

Joint-top of the Eastern Conference with D.C. United, Columbus can move top of the conference for at least a week as D.C. United isn't in action until next week.

Series record

Columbus is unbeaten against Philadelphia in four of their last five meetings, with Philadelphia's last win coming in July 2017. More worryingly for The Union, that was the only game in the last five meetings against Columbus in which it managed to find the net.
