How to Evolve Pawmo into Pawmot Easily in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pawmi is one of the newest Pokemon making an appearance in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and this cute little Pokemon brings one of the first Electric and Fighting-type combinations seen in the franchise. While cute and cuddly looking, Pawmi evolves into two extremely powerful forms, one of which is a bit tricky to evolve if you don't know what you're doing.

If you're looking to evolve your Pawmi into a Pawmo and then eventually into a Pawmot, you're going to need to put in some work. Here's what you need to know to pull it off.

How to Evolve Pawmi into Pawmot

Obviously, the first course of action is getting your hands on a Pawmi. Once that is done, though, you're going to need to level your Pawmi up to Level 18, at which point it will evolve into its second form, Pawmo.

While Pawmo is powerful, it isn't the final evolutionary form for this new Electric and Fighting-type Pokemon. Instead, you're going to need to evolve it one more time to reach the true potential of this little Pokemon. Unfortunately, evolving Pawmo into its final form, Pawmot, is easier said than done, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

It isn't like Eevee, which requires certain friendship levels or stones to evolve. And, it won't require you to complete any of the Victory Road storyline to evolve or even trade the Pokemon to trigger the evolution. What you will need to do, though, is walk 1,000 steps with your Pawmo in the Let's Go system.

The Let's Go system is what the community commonly refers to s the autobattle system. Autobattling allows you to toss your Pokemon out into the world and take on random Pokemon, or just walk around with it out beside you. As such, it's become a very popular feature with players.

To evolve Pawmo into Pawmot, though, you'll need to walk those 1,000 steps. Unfortunately, there isn't a Pedometer or any way to keep track of how far along you are with that number. But, if you're smart, you can actually cheat the system just a little bit to pull the evolution off much easier.

To evolve Pawmo into Pawmot easily, pop your Pawmo out and then use your Koraidon or Miraidon (depending on which version of the game you have) to jump on top of a Poke Center. The Pokemon will begin running circles below you, allowing you to rack up those steps in no time. Give it around five to 10 minutes, and you should hit the 1,000 steps needed to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot.
