Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Iron Valiant Location

Iron Valiant is just one of several Paradox Pokemon that players can find and catch in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. However, much like how Roaring Moon can only be found in Pokemon Scarlet, players will need to have a copy of Pokemon Violet if they want a chance to catch Iron Valiant. Otherwise, you'll need to trade for this Paradox Pokemon.

If you are playing through Pokemon Violet and looking to get your hands on Iron Valiant, then you've got a bit of a journey ahead of you since you'll need to reach the end-game area, Area Zero, which is only unlocked after completing the Path of Legends, Starfall Street, and Victory Road story paths. Once you've unlocked Area Zero, though, you can go hunting for your very own Iron Valiant. Here's where you should look.

How to Catch Iron Valiant

Much like its counterpart in Pokemon Scarlet, Iron Valiant is one of the most difficult Pokemon that you will ever try to catch in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Not only does this Pokemon have a low spawn rate, but it also sports a very low catch rate, making it a perfect fit for the Master Ball, which catches any Pokemon on the first try.

Unfortunately, you only get one Master Ball in the game, but you can duplicate items using a glitch if you want to be able to take advantage of multiple Master Balls throughout the game.

To find Iron Valiant, you need to make your way over to Area Zero. From there, head down toward Research Lab No. 2, and then look for a patch that continues down the crater to a deeper area. Keep an eye out for a pile of rocks, and then when you reach the second pile of rocks on the left, look for a small gap between the rocks that you can squeeze through.

This will lead you to the entrance of a cave, allowing you to move deep into a hidden area in Area Zero. It's this area that acts as home to Iron Valiant in Pokemon Violet and Roaring Moon in Pokemon Scarlet.

Because Iron Valiant is a Fairy and Fighting type Pokemon, you're going to want to bring along something like a Poison, Flying, Steel, or Fairy-type Pokemon yourself. Unfortunately, there's not really any type that this Pokemon is especially weak against, so just do your best.

You'll also want to make sure your Pokemon are fairly strong, too, as Iron Valiant may take more than a few tries for the Pokeball to stick. You can always make use of some of the game's various Pokeballs, though, like the Apricorn Balls, which come with different modifiers to make catching certain types of Pokemon easier based on a few different factors.
