'Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon' Shiny Poipole Distribution: How to Download Special Legendary

To celebrate the release of the latest set in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, a special Poipole will be distributed via GameStop to trainers in America.

Shiny Poipole is the special Pokémon in this distribution, giving trainers a very rare Pokémon for battling or their collection. However, to obtain Shiny Poipole in America trainers will need to head to their nearest GameStop and ask for a code to use in their Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game . No purchase is necessary to receive the card containing the code.

This Shiny Poipole will come at Level 40 with attacks Venom Drench, Dragon Pulse, Nasty Plot and Poison Jab. Its Nature is locked to Modest, which increases its Special Attack and decreases its Attack stat making this Shiny Poipole perfect for battling.

Poipole is a special Ultra Beast because it's the only one that can evolve. The evolved form of Poipole, Naganadel, is achieved when it levels up with Dragon Pulse as one of its attacks.

GameStop will be distributing the Shiny Poipole codes from Sept. 17 until Oct. 7 so be sure to grab yours before time runs out. Here's how to download this Shiny Poipole into your Pokémon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sun or Moon game.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD SHINY POIPOLE

• Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
• Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
• Select Receive Gift.
• Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the internet.
• Enter your code.
• Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game.
• Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon (have a spot open in your party).
• Be sure to save your game.
