The latest Powerball drawing on Wednesday night was worth $82 million with a cash option of $50.2 million. Was anyone lucky enough to hit the jackpot?

The Powerball lottery's winning numbers were announced on Wednesday night at 11 p.m. EST. The winning numbers were 06-19-37-49-59, Powerball 22, and Power Play 3X, according to the Powerball website. Although no one won the $82 million jackpot, there were two Match 5 winners in Florida and West Virginia that won one million dollars, according to the lottery website.

The next drawing will be held on Saturday at 11 p.m. EST and will be worth $96 million with a cash option of $58.8 million.

Powerball is the largest lottery game in the U.S. and is played in 44 states, according to the Powerball website. The Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m.

The latest winner of a Powerball prize was a group of 10 people from Missouri who won $50,000. The winning lottery ticket was sold in at the convenience store Break Time in Dexter, Missouri for the December 12 drawing, according to the Powerball website. The winning numbers were: 4-9-21-29-64 and Powerball 26.

"The prize was split between: Ramona Lemons, Cherie Smith, Marrianne Bruce, Tamara Crowley, Tamala Freeman, Lawrence Louder, Donna Morgan and Jacob Williams, all of Dexter; Barbara Illers of Jackson; and Robin Rieffer of Bloomfield," the lottery website stated.

Each lottery player will go home with $5,000 each, according to the lottery website.

On Monday, two people from Iowa claimed Powerball prizes of $100,000 and $50,000. Jacob Carpenter of Des Moines won $10,000 and Diane Fried of Mapleton won $50,000 during the December 29 Powerball drawing, the Des Moines Register reported. Fried and Carpenter matched four out of the five white balls during the game and Carpenter added the Power Play to his ticket, according to the Des Moines Register.

One of the biggest Powerball prizes was claimed in November after one woman from Iowa and a man from New York split the $687.8 million jackpot. Lerynne West of Iowa and Robert Bailey of New York won the jackpot and split it, walking away with $343.9 million each. The prize was the third-largest Powerball prize in history, according to ABC News.

In other lottery news, one person from New York won the $425 million Mega Millions jackpot last week. The winning lottery numbers announced last week were 34-44-57-62-70, Mega Ball 14 and Megaplier 4X, according to the Mega Millions website.
