Prince Harry's Reactions at Charles and Camilla's Wedding Spotted by Fans

Prince Harry's body language and reactions during the wedding of his father and stepmother, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, have become the focus of a new viral video after footage from the couple's 2005 marriage blessing ceremony at Windsor Castle has resurfaced on social media site, TikTok.

Harry's relationship with Camilla and his attitude towards her marriage into the royal family were pulled into public focus in 2023, when the prince included details from this time in his record-breaking memoir, Spare.

In his book and interviews promoting it, Harry made a number of revelations about his stepmother, including saying she was seen as a "villain" in the eyes of the public for what was perceived as her role in the breakup of Charles' first marriage to Princess Diana.

Harry also said that Camilla had leaked stories about him to the press in order to earn herself positive coverage, leading him to feel as though he had been "sacrificed" on her "PR altar."

Camilla did not publicly respond to the prince's comments or Spare in general, in line with a blanket "no comment" rule adopted at the time of the book's release by Buckingham Palace.

One major event that Harry gave readers an insight into was his father's second marriage and how he felt on the day.

Charles married Camilla in a civil ceremony in the town of Windsor, followed by a blessing ceremony at St George's Chapel, on April 9, 2005.

Uploaded to TikTok by user, danideeeee1, on January 7, footage of Harry stood beside Prince William during the blessing has gone viral, being viewed over 130,000 times on the platform so far.

Captioned "Harry and William at Charles and Camilla's wedding. Harry could never come to terms with it," the footage appears to show an unsettled Harry looking around and towards the floor as the congregation sang a hymn.

The clip has received in excess of 6,500 likes and over 200 comments, many of which have voiced support for the prince.

"The anxiety of it all," wrote one user. "Really can't even imagine what they were going through. But Harry's emotions with it all can't hide," posted another.

A further comment referenced Harry's devotion to his late mother, Princess Diana. "He loved his mum so much," it read.

Writing about the wedding in his book, Harry described how when "standing near the altar I mostly kept my head bowed, eyes on the floor, just as I had during Mummy's funeral, but I did sneak several long peeks at the groom and the bride and each time I thought: Good for you. Though, also: Goodbye."

He said that he knew after the wedding that it would "take Pa away from us," and that though he "didn't relish losing a second parent," he did appreciate that his father was happy.

"I saw pa's smile and it was hard to argue with that, and harder still to deny the cause: Camilla," he said.

"I wanted so many things, but I was surprised to discover at their wedding that one of the things I wanted most, still, was for my father to be happy. In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she'd be less dangerous if she was happy?"
