Rapper CupcakKe urged her fans not to worry about her after she posted a suicidal tweet on Monday evening. After the tweet, she claims, she went to a hospital to get help.

CupcakKe, whose real name is Elizabeth Eden Harris, returned to Twitter Tuesday with a message for her fans about her Monday night tweet and the hospitalization she'd undergone.

"I've been fighting with depression for the longest...sorry that I did it public last night but I'm ok," she tweeted. "I went to the hospital & im finally getting the help that I need to get through, be happy & deliver great music. Thanks for all the prayers but please don't worry bout me."

On Monday night, Harris tweeted, "I'm about to commit suicide," scaring her fans, followers and others on the internet, who urged her not to do anything rash and to get help.

Harris, who is a Chicago native, was hospitalized in that city, according to the Chicago Police Department, People reported. She arrived at the hospital on Tuesday morning for mental health treatment, the police said.

A handful of celebrities reached out to Harris with messages of support starting on Monday evening. Some of the biggest names included Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX. The latter penned an entire iPhone notes page and posted it to her Twitter account.

"You are powerful. People believe in you. People want to listen to every word you have to say. People are inspired," read a portion of Charli XCX's lengthy letter. "You have taught me and so many others so much about being ourselves, embracing exactly who we are and being proud of where we come from and what we stand for. You have so much more to teach."

Before her suicidal tweet, the last thing Harris had tweeted about concerned an abusive partner in a relationship. "The first sign you get of someone abusive, you run for good and never turn back," she tweeted on Monday. A Sunday tweet implied she had another relationship problem. "I'll rather just drop you instead of cheat on you," Harris wrote.

Harris released her first album, Cum Cake, as CupcakKe in 2016. She's best known for her track "Deepthroat," which is from that album and has over 26,300,000 plays on Spotify. Much of Harris's music has a sexual theme. In 2018, she released two full albums, Euphorize and Eden.
