Red Bull revealed its new car for the 2017 Formula One season on Sunday via a short video on its Twitter account, ahead of testing in Spain.
The team, expected by many to be Mercedes-AMG's closest challenger this year, is entering its 13th season in F1.
And it played on superstitions around that number with black cats and horseshoes featuring heavily in the unveiling of RB13, which has a unique hole in the nose that the company has yet to explain. F1 regulations permit such a design feature for " driver cooling."
Ironically, the team did then suffer bad luck in Barcelona testing on Monday, with Daniel Ricciardo able to complete only four laps in the morning session due to what was described as a "sensor issue."
McLaren, too, encountered problems as Fernando Alonso's MCL32 was halted by an oil systems failure.
