Restaurant Worker in Stitches at 'Surprise' From Husband During Shift

Public displays of affection aren't for everyone, but one man is taking them to a whole new level.

A video posted to TikTok by Annie (@annie_camin) went viral after revealing the moment her husband surprised her at work with a loving gift; that is, a t-shirt with her face all over it. Since it was posted, the video has been viewed over 900,000 times and has received over 40,000 likes.

"It's his new favorite shirt," Annie captioned the video.

The clip begins with Annie's husband walking into the restaurant where she works. It takes a moment for her to register what she's wearing: a shirt with three different photos of her collaged together. When she realizes this, she buries her head in her hands.

"Oh my god, what are you wearing," she said.

"Do you love it?" he replied.

"I'm embarrassed for you," she said.

Viewers in the comments did not empathize very much with Annie's embarrassment, calling her husband's hilarious display of affection—and his pride in it—a "green flag."

Commenters urged Annie to marry him for this, but she clarified that she already did 10 years ago.

Some people related to the gesture, either saying that their partner had given them a similar gift or that they would welcome it.

"My partner gave me a pair of boxers with her face all over them for our anniversary years ago. I'm still so excited when I get to wear them," @marxbro4521 wrote.

"You have such a pretty smile!" @el884529 commented. "I'd wear you on a shirt too."

Alongside the viral video, Annie makes content about marriage and mothering her three children. In another recent video, she revealed texts she had received from her husband that gave insight into the decade-long marriage. The messages were full of heartfelt, everyday affirmations.

"Home is a person," he wrote to her. "You're my home."

But what is sincerity without a bit of levity?

Annie's husband's t-shirt prank was in line with many other TikTok couples lightening each other's mood with heartfelt but silly offerings.

A video from March went viral recently after a wife secretly tuned up her husband's car with a projection of her face. That way, every time he would open the car door, her face would appear on the ground. The video racked up over one million views.

On TikTok, couple pranks enjoy a lot of attention— but what sets Annie's video apart, perhaps, is the pride with which her husband parades her face around. The gesture has people in the comments praising their relationship.

As one user said, "I like y'all."
