And the limited series has an incredible cast to back it up, with each episode in the series featuring a different A-list star.

The top billed cast members in Roar are Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart, Kara Hayward, and Issa Rae.

The titles for each episode make their respective plots seem pretty self-explanatory, but the stories are described as "darkly comic feminist fables."

Rae is the leading lady of the series' first episode "The Woman Who Disappeared," which also stars Nick Kroll, Griffin Matthews, and Dana DeLorenzo opposite her, amongst others.

The show's second episode, "The Woman Who Ate Photographs," stars Kidman as the eponymous character, and she is also joined by Simon Baker, Judy Davis, and Ellodee Carpenter.

Episode 3, "The Woman Who Was Kept On The Shelf," sees Gilpin take on the main role of a woman put on a shelf by her husband, played by Daniel Dae Kim.

"The Woman Who Found Bite Marks on Her Skin" is the series' fourth episode and it stars Erivo in the title role, and she is joined by Jake Johnson and Jordyn Weitz.

Episode 5 is titled "The Woman Who Was Fed By A Duck" and it features
Wever as the aforementioned character, and she is joined in the cast by Jason Mantzoukas amongst others.

The show's sixth episode is called "The Woman Who Solved Her Own Murder" and it sees Brie do just that in the title role, and she stars opposite Hugh Dancy and Christopher Lowell.

Episode 7 is titled "The Woman Who Returned Her Husband" with Syal taking on the main part, and she appears in the episode alongside Bernard White, Peter Facinelli, and Gregg Binkley.

"The Girl Who Loved Horses" is the series finale and it stars Fivel Stewart and Kara Hayward in the lead roles, with Alfred Molina and Jude Hyland also appearing in the supporting cast.

Roar will be released on Apple TV+ in full on Friday, April 15.
