Rapper Rubi Rose Goes Viral After Posting Nearly Nude Video

Rapper Rubi Rose sent the internet into meltdown when she posted a video where she was almost nude.

Rose, 24, showed off her incredible figure on social media in a barely-there bikini as she strategically placed her hands on her chest to protect her modesty.

The up-and-coming star wore a string thong bikini with gold panels as she danced to DJ Khaled's song Staying Alive featuring Drake and DaBaby.

On Instagram, she played Fabolous' Slim Thick over the video.

Wearing a bob-length wig with blunt bangs, Rose started the video leaning forward with her arms over her chest.

Completing the look with a diamond tennis necklace, the rapper then twirled to the side as she adjusted the strings on her thong and looked towards the camera.

She mimed the words to the song as held up her arms to show off her body before turning her back to the camera to reveal her backside.

Rose captioned the video, "all this injera been doing my body good," along with a love-heart face emoji and an emoji of the Eritrean flag.

Injera flatbread is a food staple in Sudan, Ethiopia and her mother's native Eritrea in Northeast Africa.

Her fans rushed to compliment the 24-year-old on the sexy video.

"Yes east African queen," commented one Twitter user.

While another added: "My Girllll."

Rose quickly trended on Twitter after posting the video which has 2.3 million views as of publication time and another 624,000 likes on Instagram.

Born in Kentucky, the rapper rose to fame when she appeared as the main model in Migo's breakout hit Bad and Boujee.

She then went on to release the popular track Big Mouth before being one of the artists selected to feature in Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's 2020 viral song, WAP.

In 2019 she was signed to LA Reid's label, Hitco Entertainment and released her first mixtape, For The Streets, the following year.

The positive attention from her nearly nude video is an improvement on last week's headlines when Rose came under fire suggesting white people could use the "n-word."

"I'm personally OK with anybody saying it, as long as their intent isn't to be rude," she said on the Twitch stream of Adrian Ross.

"Because I'm sure, Adin, you love Black people. You have a lot of Black people on your channel, you love Black music, probably."

"So, as long as the person isn't saying it with malicious intent, personally, 'cause I have like Mexican homegirls and white homegirls who be saying it, I don't care about other people. We're friends and they are cool with it," she continued.

Other Black people were quick to call out Rose's comments and warned it was never acceptable for anyone else to use the racial slur.

"Dear White Folk. Just know Rubi Rose was speaking for herself and herself only. Do not go around saying n***a because she said it's ok," wrote one disgruntled person on Twitter.

Another added: "Rubi rose pretty but got 2 teaspoons of brain just floating in her head cause girl what."
