Who Was Eliminated on 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 11? Judge's Decision May Shock You

It was a battle out at sea on the latest episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, but surprisingly, none of the contestants fell overboard. After going head-to-head on the reality competition's annual Snatch Game, show creator, host and judge RuPaul Charles shocked audiences and the cast with her surprising elimination decision.

But first—let's get into a few highlights from the episode.

Episode 8 started on an incredibly tense note with feuds bubbling over for a few of the castmates, namely Yvie Oddly. The Colorado queen's unsolicited advice was an issue for some of her co-contestants, particularly Silky Nutmeg Grenache, and it all came to a head after Yvie called Silky "talentless" on episode 7.

The contestants managed to put their creative differences aside and let bygones be bygones this week when Yvie apologized for her previous comments. Although Silky agreed to play nicely with Yvie going forward, she made it perfectly clear the two would never be more than just castmates. "We ain't got to be friends," Silky told Yvie during the episode. "Moving forward, I'm just doing me."

As for Yvie's spat with Miss Vanessa Vanjie? Well, that drama is still up in the air. After all, there's only enough time to uproot one shady tree at a time on Drag Race. Before the castmates were able to get around to extending olive branches it was time to focus on the challenges of the week.

RuPaul announced the release of her latest endeavor, a new book titled, GuRu, full of Ru-isms and motivational quotes, and the show host had the remaining eight racers pitch their own self-help books while posing for a cover shoot. Silky won Ru's over with her literary gem, Eat It: Chronicles of the Buffett.

Actually, Silky was the overall winner of the night after also scoring the highest in the judges' books with her impersonation of Ts Madison during the Snatched Game at Sea main challenge. She also turned out the runway with a sparkling little number that wowed RuPaul and the judges.

Perhaps the most underrated queen of the night was Nina West, who slayed her impersonations of Harvey Fierstein and Jo Anne Worley, complete with a super patriotic red, white and blue look during the runway challenge. Shuga Cain's Charo impression was similarly a hit with the judges while A'Keria C. Davenport had the panel doubled over with laughter with her take of Tiffany Haddish.

Plastique Tiara faired well as Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star and acclaimed nail artist Lovely Mimi, despite having no prior knowledge of the reality TV queen.

Meanwhile, Miss Vanjie sparked a heated debate when judges Michelle Visage and Ross Matthews couldn't see eye-to-eye on the profoundness of her performance. Ross didn't care if Vanjie's impersonation of Danielle Briegoli was spot on or not, he just loved seeing Vanjie be Vanjie.

And then there were the bottom two: Brooke Lynn Hytes and Yvie.

Brooke Lynn found herself on the chopping block for her horrendous impression of Celine Dion, which is a shame considering Brooke Lynn is a fellow Canadian and the first from the North American country to grace Drag Race. However, Yvie's impersonation of Whoopi Goldberg was just as bad, and perhaps making matters even worse for the odd-ball queen, she didn't even know Whoopi was a member of The View.

The two were forced to battle it out on the Lip Sync For Your Life challenge. Their performances to Demi Lovato's "Sorry Not Sorry" was filled with more back-bends, flips and splits than viewers have seen so far this season. They wowed the judges to the point where RuPaul was forced to make the shocking decision to keep them both safe this week. "Shantay, you both stay," RuPaul announced.

That leaves eight queens still in the running for the Drag Race title and $100,000 cash prize.
