Nicki Minaj's Twitter beef with Safaree was practically all anyone could talk about on Tuesday, but it wasn't clear if everything the former lovers were saying was true. Of the most outlandish claims, Safaree accused Minaj of nearly stabbing him to death. Minaj then said Safaree tried to get surgery on his hairline but that it didn't take as well as Tyga's did. Hairlines aside, apparently there's proof Minaj dashed after Safaree, whom she dated for 12 years, with a blade.

TMZ producer Van Lathan said he has seen footage that shows the Queen rapper brandishing a blade. He revealed the exclusive details to Los Angeles' Power 106 Thursday.

"We've actually seen the video here at TMZ, back in 2014, that shows Nicki chasing Safaree with a knife. We should say, don't know what happened after that. Couples get into it, sometimes things get heated," he said. "There's no reason why you should be chasing someone with a knife, but we don't know if Nicki actually stabbed him with a knife.

"It doesn't seem that he's going to want to press charges," Lathan continued. "If he wanted to press charges, he would have pressed them then."

Just to reiterate, apparently there is video that shows Minaj pursing Safaree with a weapon, but it doesn't show her actually cutting him.

Safaree, however, said that Minaj injured him so seriously he nearly died, but told hospital employees he hurt himself so Minaj wouldn't go to jail. "Remember the night you cut me and I almost died the police and ambulance had to take me out the crib on a stretcher and I had to lie and tell them I was trying to kill myself so they wouldn't take you to jail," he tweeted Tuesday. "When things like that start happening more than once it's time to dip."

Minaj didn't directly respond to Safaree's allegation. Instead, she attempted to belittle him by talking about his physical appearance. She also dragged Tyga into their drama, saying his surgically altered hairline turned out better. "I should've never paid for that gyatDamn hairline!!!! It fell back out cuz God don't like ugly!!!! You used me but God had other plans!!!!!" she wrote.

Safaree then accused Minaj of cheating on him with Meek Mill. "We know each other inside out. Everything there was for us. I didn't use your card for prostitutes," he tweeted. "We both didn't trust each other. You did shit I did shit. You said you were messing with meek a few years b4 y'all got together and I'm not mad at that."
