Samuel L. Jackson Slams Donald Trump: President's 'Ruining the Planet and All Kinds of Other Crazy S--t'

Actor Samuel L. Jackson, a frequent Trump critic, condemned the president this week for "ruining the planet" and called on Americans who are too scared to voice their opposition to stand up and be heard.

"This motherf---er is like ruining the planet and all kinds of other crazy s--t," the 70-year-old said in an interview with Esquire published Tuesday. "If you're not saying anything, then you're complicit."

"And I wouldn't give a f--k if I was a garbageman and I had a Twitter account, I'd tweet that s--t out," the actor continued. "I'm not thinking about who I am and what my job is when I do that s--t."

Jackson also sent a message to fans who have turned on him over his regular public criticism of the president. "I know how many motherf---ers hate me. 'I'm never going to see a Sam Jackson movie again.' F--k I care?" he said. "If you never went to another movie I did in my life, I'm not going to lose any money. I already cashed that check. F--k you. Burn up my videotapes. I don't give a f--k. 'You're an actor. Stick to acting.' 'No, motherf---er. I'm a human being that feels a certain way.'"

"Some of this s--t does affect me, because if we don't have health care, s--t, and my relatives get sick, they're going to call my rich ass," he added. "I want them to have health care. I want them to be able to take care of themselves. This is how I feel. And I count to one hundred some days before I hit 'send,' because I know how that s--t is."

Jackson also recalled growing up during segregation and explained that Trump, Mitch McConnell and "all those a--holes" reminded him of the people who believed black Americans as less than their equal.

"I don't think I was ever angry about it," he said. "I'm angrier now about it than I was then just because I see these guys and I know these are the same guys: Trump and all those a--holes, Mitch McConnell. But they're the same f---ing guys. And when I hear their voices, I hear the same voices."

Jackson added: "There was no doubt about where they stood, that you were never going to be their equal and, if possible, they were going to make sure you never had as much s--t as they had."

Since Trump was elected president in 2016, Jackson has spoken out against the controversial president and called for his resignation on numerous occasions. In January, Jackson backed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) after she referred to Trump as a "motherf---er" following a swearing-in ceremony.

"I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherf---ing goal last week," Jackson tweeted. "Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherf---er is not an issue, calling that Muthaffuqah President Is."

Throughout the past year, Jackson has also branded the Trump a "canker sore" and demanded his removal from office after the president sided with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during a meeting between the two leaders, and apparently criticized his own intelligence agencies' investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
