The Estadio Corona hosts the first leg of the Clausura semifinal between Santos Laguna and Club America on Thursday.

Club America finished second in the Liga MX table—behind only Toluca and—comfortably beat Pumas UNAM in the quarterfinal to reach the last four.

Santos ended the season fourth and managed to eliminate reigning champions Tigres as their 2-2 aggregate draw saw Santos progress, having finished higher in the regular season.
