'Sister Wives' Fans Notice Kody Brown Missing From Janelle's Holiday Photos

Sister Wives fans think they've found proof that "a picture is worth 1,000 words," as Janelle Brown spends Thanksgiving away from husband Kody Brown.

Janelle shared a happy photo with her brood of kids and their partners as they celebrated the holidays at the home of her son Logan and his wife Michelle in Las Vegas.

Logan is the oldest of the six children Janelle shares with Kody. They are also parents to Hunter Elias, Robert Garrison and Gabriel, as well as daughters Madison Rose and Savanah.

She posted a photo to Instagram of the group and their dogs posing around the sofa, saying she felt "grateful" for them all.

"Our Thanksgiving crowd. Grateful for family and friends. Thanks @_michellepetty and @logantbro for hosting !" Janelle captioned the post.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed one person missing from the festivities—her spiritual husband, Kody.

"A picture is worth 1,000 words ... no Kody," commented one fan.

Another added: "No Cody??? Bet your thanksgiving was the best!"

And a third wrote: "And of course, Kody is absent."

Kody, 53, is in a plural marriage with legal wife Robyn, 43, and spiritual wives Meri, 51, and Janelle, 53.

He was also spiritually married to Christine, 51, but they revealed their split in November 2021.

Christine has since packed up and moved to Utah, away from Kody who lives in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Janelle and Christine have remained close since she left, with fans noticing tension brewing.

In a recent episode, Kody wanted Janelle to buy Christine's Flagstaff house after a planned sale didn't happen.

But Janelle is not keen on the idea, because she wants to build her dream home on the land the family bought in Flagstaff, known as Coyote Pass.

She has been living in an RV as she waits for her dream home plans to come to fruition.

Regardless of the tension between them, Janelle has found solace in her friendship with Christine.

Christine told People she and Janelle are "really good friends," and she had "been supportive from the get-go."

Christine added: "Janelle and I have stayed close through the whole thing. She's wonderful."

Their families spent a day together at Disney World in Orlando, Florida in March this year and have even traded health tips.

They both committed to a new lifestyle journey together and Christine gave credit to Janelle for helping her "look better."

Christine eventually sold her home in Flagstaff, Arizona, for $700,000, and moved with her daughter Truely into a new home in Murray, Utah.

She films her TLC spinoff series, Cooking With Just Christine, in the kitchen of her new home in Utah.

The series sees Christine prepare some of her favorite recipes and is often joined by her different children to help her make the food.

Sister Wives continues on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
