Is 'SNL' on Tonight? Watch Claire Foy Host 'Saturday Night Live'

The Queen of England is making her grand debut on Saturday Night Live!

Ok, so Queen Elizabeth II isn't actually coming to the U.S. to make a guest appearance on the sketch comedy show—but the woman who plays her royal highness is appearing. Claire Foy, star of Netflix's The Crown, is set to host SNL for the first time on Saturday.

On the original series, the English actress starred as a young Elizabeth as she was just coming into power in the early 1950s through the mid-1960s. Foy retired the role following Season 2 (Season 3 picks up in the 1970s with an older Elizabeth portrayed by Olivia Colman), but she didn't leave the series without snagging a few major accolades. The actor picked up a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her performance on the show.

Although Foy may be most known in the U.S. for her drama, she's clearly ready to flex her comedic chops. In the SNL promo for the upcoming episode of the comedy show, Foy engages in a bit of playful and funny banter with SNL cast member Pete Davidson that essentially results in them having a food fight.

Find out everything about Foy's SNL debut before the show airs below.

Who's performing: Fresh off the release of his new album Oxnard, Anderson .Paak will serve as the musical guest during Saturday's SNL, marking his first appearance on the show. .Paak released his 14-track project just a week before Thanksgiving on November 16. The musician's third studio album features collabs with a number of hip-hop heavy hitters like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Pusha T and Dr. Dre.

When: Foy and .Paak will appear on SNL during the show's regular Saturday night timeslot at 11:30 p.m.

Where: SNL will air on NBC.

Can it be live streamed: SNL fans can live stream the show if they don't have access to TV by logging on to the NBC website or the network's app. Viewers will need to login in with their cable provider's information to catch the series though. Hulu subscribers can always watch the show there. Per usual, the best clips of the episode will be available on SNL's YouTube after the show. Folks can also keep up with all the SNL chatter by following the hashtag #SNL on social media.
