Sonic Frontiers: How to Farm Skill Pieces And Level Up Fast

Skill Pieces in Sonic Frontiers are similar to experience points in other open-world games, and once you've gathered enough, you can unlock new skills and level up. As you go through the game's main story, you'll need to gather a lot of these Skill Pieces to keep Sonic powered up and ready for the fights he'll encounter along the way.

You can see how many Skill Pieces you've earned by checking out the gauge at the bottom of the screen. When filled, you'll be able to level up and unlock a new skill for Sonic to make use of. While Skill Pieces drop quite frequently within Sonic Frontiers, there are a few things you can do to help increase the rate at which you're earning them, thus allowing you to level up more quickly.

Skill Pieces are actually very easy to gain in Sonic Frontiers. Pretty much every enemy drops Skill Pieces or has a chance to drop them. However, if you want to make the most of those enemies, you're going to want to go for larger groups.

The larger the groups of enemies, the better the chance that more Skill Pieces will drop at one time. This isn't an uncommon way of leveling, as it is also used in a lot of other games like Amazon Games' New World.

Now that Sonic Frontiers has been released, players can take advantage of those preorder bonuses and really dig into the latest Sonic adventure. This entry in the franchise is unlike anything Sega has released in the past, as it offers a huge open world for players to explore and experience. And, all along the way, they'll be able to earn a ton of Skill Pieces and level up their combat and exploration abilities.

Additionally, because Skill Pieces drop from just about any enemy, players focusing on large groups of enemies will find themselves able to level up more quickly and purchase more skills throughout their playtime. If you don't want to focus on combat, you can also find Skill Pieces by breaking open Steel Containers, as well as picking them up from hidden areas within the game's various biomes as you explore the Starfall Islands.

This means you can level up quickly whether you prefer taking part in combat or just exploring the world that Sonic Frontiers offers. Of course, this isn't the only new game coming out this week, either. PlayStation fans can also look forward to the release of God of War: Ragnarok, which is available at the end of the week.
