Arsenal is considering making a bid for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as Petr Cech's long-term successor in goal, according to reports.
Cech, who turns 35 in May, moved to Arsenal in 2015 after 11 years as Chelsea's number one goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal is planning for life without the Czech Republic shot-stopper and is interested in Hart, who is out-of-favor at City and on loan at Torino.
England goalkeeper Hart was sent out on loan to Serie A for the season after Pep Guardiola overlooked the 29 year old as his first choice, having arrived at City in the summer.
Hart was made number one at the Etihad Stadium by then-manager Sven Goran Eriksson, and has made 266 appearances in a decade at the club. He has won the Premier League twice with City and the FA Cup once.
Torino sits ninth in the Serie A table, while Arsenal is looking to secure a top-four position in the Premier League this season to ensure it will play in the Champions League next season.
